Upon completion of the STD - HIV awareness class, client should obtain & keep a copy of the completion certificate for client's records and provide a copy to attorney for record archival.  Also provide a copy to Colorado Springs Municipal Court Probation Department by the due date..

 
        HIV TEST

Upon receipt of HIV test results, client should obtain and keep a copy of the test result for client's records and provide a copy to attorney for record archival.  Also provide a copy to Colorado Springs Municipal Court Chief Prosecutor by the due date..

 

IMPORTANT

        DEFERRED SENTENCE.  If client has been granted a deferred sentence and fails to provide the education class completion proof or HIV test result as ordered, deferred sentence may be revoked, client may be sent to jail and sealing of criminal justice records would not subsequently be available.

        PROBATION.  If client has been placed upon probation and fails to provide the education class completion proof or HIV test result as ordered, probation may be revoked, client may be sent to jail.  Sealing criminal justice records is not available if the court imposed sentence and issued a probation order.
