Fred Rogers is one of my most respected
and favorite people of all time.
The messages he gave our children are
that they are loved - cared for and cared about - unique and have worth
to others and themselves.
He showed children that adults can be kind
and attentive.
He dealt with many tough subjects such as
illness, death and divorce.
He took the time to personally reply to
email - no photocopied or automated form letter or delegation to an
intern. My daughter is the
richer for his individual attention when she was little, and she remembers it.
At his retirement, he stated he had
created a library for children on the topics he believed
important. Well done, Mr. Rogers - the world is a better place for
you having lived in it. We hope you enjoy your new neighborhood
and that your trolley went to heaven with you.

Dog without success. The only means to ensure safety and avoid inappropriate content
